Deepika Padukone & Neil Nitin Mukesh starrer Lafangey Parindey has recieved a moderate dstart on box office. After a blistering spree of hits, Deepika has surprisingle tried to fit herself in a role not actually meant for her. Director Pradeep Sarkar has portrayed a set in the maze of Mumbai's chawls and has foul language aplenty. The signature dialogue from Deepika "Aisi jagah laat maroongi, puri zindagi pakad ke baitha rahega", seems to be the only highlight. All in all, Lafangey Parindey is a movie that works only in fits and starts, but mostly leaves you in a fit of yawns. Movie Review : Peepli Live

A story based on current chaotic situation of suicide by Indian farmers, Peepli Live draws a clear trench between modern & rural India. The movie revolves around two farmer brothers who are set to loose their land due to non repayment of loans. The way one brother convinces the other to commit suicide, shows the powerful nature of of a very humourly written scipt. All in all, it shows that Aamir Khan produced Peepli Live starring no big names but superbly directed, strong on content & brilliant multi layered satire.
